What is Pyrolysis?

Pyrolysis is the process of decomposing large hydrocarbon molecules into smaller molecules by thermal (medium temperature 400-500 °C) in the absence of oxygen to produce pyrolysis oil, and also pyrolysis gas (non-condensable gas), and carbon residue as the by product. There are five major reaction factors that influences to the pyrolysis process, reaction temperature, reaction time, catalyst, raw material, and reactor type.

HTR Pyrolysis® (Hybrid Thermal Reactor Pyrolysis®) is the latest innovation of E-Square Green Innovation Co., Ltd. that was designed and developed to increase pyrolysis oil productivity and reduce time and overall cost of operation by using electricity together with the pyrolysis gas which recovered from the process for heating the raw material.
